Grantee Final Reports: Patient Safety
The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality Center for Quality Improvement and Patient Safety subdivision of General Patient Safety has funded research grants on a variety of patient safety topics since 2000. These topics include human factors approaches to improve patient safety, patient safety measure development and implementation, medication safety, patient and family engagement, and diagnostic safety.
At the end of the grant's project period, a final progress report is shared to summarize the methodology, results, limitations, conclusions, and implications for future research. AHRQ is sharing the general patient safety grant final progress reports to ensure the results of these projects are publicly available.
The final progress reports listed here were submitted by the principal investigator and approved by the assigned program official. The reports have been lightly edited and made accessible in compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. AHRQ did not make substantive changes to any reports or edit images, mathematical equations, tables, or graphs. In addition, many final reports were written years ago, links and contact information may no longer be active.
This list does not include final progress reports for projects for which a report was not provided or whose report did not meet the requirements for approval.
